What To Expect
After undergoing the Plexr Plus Plasma Shower treatment, it is normal to experience a sunburn-like sensation on the treated area for the next 24-36 hours. You may also notice small, scale-like scabs on the skin when touched, which typically heal and fall off within 3-5 days. Makeup can be resumed 24 hours after the treatment.
The Plexr Shower treatment typically lasts between 40-45 minutes, following the application of a numbing agent to minimize discomfort. This efficient procedure is suitable for individuals with mildly loose skin or those seeking texture and tone rejuvenation for anti-aging maintenance.
It’s recommended to book a Plexr Shower treatment every 1-3 months.

Book a Consultation
1. Prior to your appointment, remove all makeup and thoroughly cleanse your skin.
2. 1 day before your treatment avoid any alcohol and keep to a low salt diet to assure the best healing and minimize swelling.
3. 1 week before your treatment start to take slow release Vitamin C and Arnica to promote healing and reduce swelling.
4. Avoid any kind of tanning (spray tanning, sun tanning and tanning beds) for 2 to 4 weeks before your treatment. Ideally, you should try to use SPF5O to prep your skin for 2 to 4 weeks before your treatment, especially if you are naturally darker skinned. In some cases we require a potent brightening serum that features cysteamine to target stubborn discolorations, dark spots, and uneven skin tone in multiple ways, resulting in brightening and unification of skin tone. Synergistically blended with vitamin C and skin-protective peptides, skin remains brightened and radiant. Available through MD Laser Clinic Skin Care.
5. Avoid any other type of procedures on the same area which you intend to have treated with Plasma such as laser therapy, chemical peels, Botox or fillers, as this may prevent your treatment being performed by MD Laser Clinic when you want it.
6. No facial acids (Retin A, salicylic, glycolic) 5-7 days before and for 21 days after Your treatment.
7. No Botox or fillers 14 days before or 14 after treatment.
8. No Microneedling or Energy Based (RF) Skin Treatments 21 days before or after treatment.
9.No laser or peels (depending on intensity of peel) for 30 days before or after treatment.
10. Surgical procedures such as face lifts require a wait of at least 9 months postop/before a Plasma treatment
You can resume normal activities immediately after your treatment but hold off with any exercise for 3 days. We recommend NOT exercising right after a treatment because any heat, steam, or sweat could add to the inflammation that’s already present.
A sensation like sunburn is often felt, if you feel particularly aware of the treatment area acetaminophen can be taken, avoid ibuprofen as this can increase swelling.
You will leave the treatment with tiny carbon dots – Do not rub, scratch, pick, peel or pull at the carbon crusts, it is essential that you wait for these to flake away naturally. If the area itches we recommend gently tapping the area with clean fingertips not nails.
Leave the treated area alone until the next day unless otherwise advised. This includes direct contact by sweat and shower spray.
The next morning, start using our specially formulated skin care products. These will be issued to you as part of your home care regimen along with further instructions.
1 (recovery times differ depending on factors like your age and general health). This is a normal reaction and part of the initial stages of the healing and rejuvenation process. DO NOT apply ice or cold packs as this will diminish the outcome. Should there be swelling, typically it will be worse on day 2-3 and will have subsided by day 5-7.
2. You may feel like you have a sunburn feeling and slight tingling can occur when cleansing face and applying post treatment products. All active skincare should be avoided for the first 10 days after your Plexr Plasma Facial Treatment.
3. Sunscreen must be worn daily, even when in door if you are in front of light-based devices and windows.
